Members of the Society: early 1000 PLN, late 1200 PLN

Non-members: early 1200 PLN, late 1400 PLN

Students, PhD students & pensioners: early 800 PLN, late 1000 PLN

• fee covers the costs of materials, meals (lunches, dinners), coffee breaks and social events during the conference in Białystok and Tykocin in May 27th-29th, trip in Białystok and Tykocin

• does not cover the costs of accommodation

• does not cover the approximately 8-hour trip on May 30th along the trail of many cultures (the cost of the trip is PLN 250; the trip will take place if at least 30 people sign up)

*Contest for the best oral and poster presentation for young scientists. The first author (which should deliver oral presentation itself or be present at the poster session) may be not older than 35 years.

The topics of presentations include, but are not limited to:

  • Taxonomy and diversity of eukaryotic algae and cyanobacteria,
  • Ecology of eukaryotic algae and cyanobacteria,
  • Applied phycology,
  • Eukaryotic algae and cyanobacteria as bioindicators of the environmental condition,
  • Harmful water blooms.

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS:

  • oral: max. 20 minutes of presentation (15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion
  • short communication: max. 10 minutes of presentation
  • poster: maximum format B1 (707 x 1000mm)

BEST POSTER/BEST TALK COMPETITION

Traditionally, we are planning a competition for young phycologists for the best oral and best poster presentations. We invite every Conference Participant up to 35 years of age who is the first author and will give the presentation during the conference to take part in the competition.

Your willingness to participate in the competition should be indicated in the application form.
